A COMMUNITY ENERGY PROJECT
Birmingham Energy Initiative today officially announced the launch of their project with aims of creating a sustainable Birmingham.
Birmingham Energy Initiative focuses on helping organisations throughout the region with their industry-leading approach to NetZero along with creating positive platforms in the community to tackle topical energy issues such as Fuel Poverty.
The Initiative will also develop engaging extracurricular activities at a grassroots level to provide information and education on energy, sustainability and renewable generation throughout the community.
“I’m excited to finally announce the launch of Birmingham Energy Initiative which is an investment in the community…”
“We’re already in discussion with key organisations, local authorities and support networks about how we can create a sustainable Birmingham and develop positive platforms in the community to make longstanding impacts”.
Tom Bailey, Founder of Birmingham Energy Initiative said.
Birmingham Energy Initiative was a successful applicant of the European Regional Development Fund and are working closely with Birmingham City Council who declared a Climate Emergency with aims of becoming carbon neutral by 2030.
The Initiative is open to partnerships and working with organisations who wish to make a NetZero transition throughout the region and be part of positive community energy projects.
